Employment Status

Jobs at Joseph City Schools fall under one of the following employment status categories.

Full-Time

Full-time staff are employees who are in positions that are normally scheduled to work at least thirty (30) hours per week on a long-term basis.

Part-Time Plus

Part-time plus staff are employees who are in positions that are normally scheduled to work at least twenty (20) hours per week but less than thirty (30) hours per week on a long-term basis.

Part-Time

Part-time staff are employees who are in positions that are normally scheduled to work less than twenty (20) hours per week on a long-term basis.

Flexible

Flexible staff are employed to work for short periods of time or on an occasional or seasonal basis. These positions include substitutes, seasonal workers, event staff, special projects, extra duty and other temporary assignments. The employment status of flexible staff will not change as a result of an extension of employment longer than originally planned.
